La Maison Fanée began with a love of objects that tell a story. I have always been drawn to pieces with character, worn gilt frames, aged books, tarnished silver, alabaster softened by time, and decorative objects that carry traces of the homes they once belonged to. Each piece is chosen individually, not because it fits a trend, but because it feels beautiful, interesting, and worth preserving.
It began with a love of decorative objects that have already lived a life.
I don't source around trends or shop with a strict plan in mind. Instead, I look for pieces that stop me in my tracks. Over time, connections begin to appear between them, and collections naturally take shape.
Each item is carefully chosen for its character, craftsmanship, and ability to bring warmth to a home. Some pieces come from sales, others from antique shops, and private collections. What they share is a sense of permanence, objects made to be kept, used, and appreciated for years to come.
